Ronald R.
Brancaccio, M.D. is the Director of the Skin Institute of New York and is Clinical
Professor of Dermatology at New York University School of Medicine and practices
dermatology in New York City. He received his M.D. from George Washington University
and completed his residency at the Univesity of Oregon Health Sciences Center.
He completed a FIDE Fellowship in tropical dermatology at the Hospital das Clinicas
Faculdade de Medicina de Universidade de Sao Paulo. Dr. Brancaccio has served
as President of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and on its Board of
Directors. He has been President, Vice President and Secretary of the Dermatologic
Society of Greater New York and is currently program chairman. He
is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a past Chairman
of The Committee on Contact Dermatitis. He serves as Section Editor of the American
Journal of Contact Dermatitis. Dr. Brancaccio was chosen to be the Alexander
A. Fisher Lecturer of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and is an Honorary
member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology. He has authored 25 publications,
dealing primarily with skin allergy.
